Agentis Expands Litigation Team with Alexander Strassman

MIAMI - May 9, 2018 - PRLog -- Alexander Strassman has joined Agentis as an associate in its Commercial Litigation Practice Group. He joins the firm after almost four years as an attorney with Gray Robinson.

"Alex is a significant addition to the firm," said Managing Partner Jacqueline Calderín. "His background in criminal and white collar defense, complex civil matters and his trial experience provides the team with a unique perspective and skill set."

Strassman is a board member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, South Florida Chapter. He has handled multiple jury and bench trials in both federal and state courts.

"While I enjoyed criminal defense work, I see a great synergy between that work, my experience with fraud cases and the complex commercial litigation on which I'll be working," Strassman said. "The Agentis culture, which emphasizes a work-life balance and community involvement was also very attractive in making the move to a boutique firm."

In 2017, he received the Dade County Bar Association's Pro Bono Service Award in part for devoting a portion of his practice to representing indigent criminal defendants on a pro bono basis. In 2018, he was the recipient of the Dade County Bar Association's Rising Legal Star Award.

Strassman is a graduate of the University of Miami School of Law and resides in Miami Beach.
