Pelican Bay at Cherry Creek begins 2018 season with new name, fresh look

DENVER - May 1, 2018 - PRLog -- Pelican Bay at Cherry Creek, formerly called The Marina at Cherry Creek, is kicking off the 2018 season with a lot more than a new name!

One of Denver's most scenic and exciting waterside entertainment venues, Pelican Bay has recently undergone renovations throughout the grounds to enhance the look and experience for all visitors, whether they're spending the day out on the lake, stopping in for anafter-work gathering of friends or getting married!

Pelican Bay is made up of four distinct locales that offer unique opportunities for fun and entertainment – The Marina, The Lake House, The Warf and The Pub, a nautical themed bar that will celebrate its Grand Opening May 12!

Open now, The Marina is the only place in Denver to find an all-inclusive lake experience with stunning mountain views. Rent boat slips by the day or season, along with pontoon boats and paddle sports.

The Marina will be packed with special events, concerts, rentals and plenty of surprises this year. Coming up first on Saturday, May 5 is a Cinco De Mayo Concert featuring Cisco's Kids. Tickets are $10 plus a $2 park entry fee, and doors open at 4 p.m. All Captain's Club Members get free entry to the concert. Register at pbcherrycreek.com.

"Live! at the Lake" - Pelican Bay's exciting summer concert series is held at The Lake House. All shows are on Wednesdays beginning Memorial Day. Tickets are always $10 plus a $2 park entry fee. The Lake House is Pelican Bay's premier event venue for every kind of party and program. Updates to the 2,500 square foot Great Hall and equally sized Upper Deckhave given the sprawling space a refined look that can be molded to any theme or design scheme. The Lake House also includes services like a new on-site caterer to make any event complete and seamless.

The Wharf will open May 12. Visitors to The Wharf will find everything needed for a family-friendly adventure on the water.  A concession bar is conveniently located nearby, making it easy to stay for the family to stay at The Wharf all day!
