UnifyCloud Supports Microsoft Intelligent Asset Manager Maximizing Software Asset Management Value

Microsoft Intelligent Asset Manager (IAM) enables UnifyCloud's partners and customers to more easily and transparently collect and securely share IT inventory data and leverage Microsoft's centralized service to establish a licensing position. In addition, UnifyCloud helps customers gain valuable insights into areas such as cloud migration opportunities and cybersecurity risks. As a result, time-consuming, expensive and disruptive reviews are a thing of the past and enables more time and focus on helping customers manage their IT infrastructure and derive meaningful insight from this process.

IAM makes it easier to understand a customer's IT inventory, store that data in a secure and customer-controlled manner and enable the seamless creation of an Effective License Position (ELP) – a trusted baseline for both parties. Coupled with UnifyCloud's CloudRecon^® technology, customers can also create a detailed IT dashboard and associated on-demand reports covering cybersecurity, server and application cloud migration opportunities and associated run-rate costs based on sizing, and on-premises server optimization. Through a special program with UnifyCloud, Microsoft customers can use the IAM IT infrastructure data via UnifyCloud's solution to develop a data-driven comprehensive cloud migration strategy. Doing so in a managed and transparent process using pre-agreed metrics will save customer resources, allow friction-free self-optimization, create more value driven relationships for Microsoft customers and empower informed strategic technology and cloud decisions.
