Big changes unveiled at Cherry Lane Bradmore
Garden centre in Nottinghamshire completes major transformation to create larger store, bigger restaurant and new soft play area
Located on Pendock Lane, Cherry Lane is now bigger both inside and out to offer an even greater variety of fantastic value plants, outdoor living products and homewares. Both the Scallywags pet department and wild bird care areas have been increased by over a third and the store's clothing department, which includes big brands at great value prices, has been relocated, expanded and refitted with new changing facilities. Wellingtons restaurant has doubled in size to seat 240 people and has been completely redecorated. Plus, an exciting new family section has been created to include the Garden Tots Soft Play Area, complete with slides, soft shapes and climbing nets which are suitable for children up to six-years-old, as well as plenty of comfy seating.
Helen Foster, Commercial Director of Cherry Lane, said: "We've made some big changes to Cherry Lane Bradmore to make the garden centre even better for our customers. We're delighted that the majority of the work has been completed in time for the Easter bank holiday weekend, as this will be the perfect opportunity for people to pop in and see our new look. Cherry Lane really is more than just a garden centre. There is such a wide variety of different products available and it is the ideal way to combine shopping with a family outing. Stop and relax with a bite to eat in the restaurant and let the children explore and try out our new soft play area."
John Burrell, store manager at Cherry Lane Bradmore, added: "We'd like to thank all our customers for their patience while the work has been carried out. We can't wait for them to see the finished transformation!
To complement the new-look, the centre's car parking area has also been extended to include an extra 40 free car parking spaces. Further work to create a new café outdoor seating area and an indoor plant room is expected to be finished in April to complete the transformation.
Cherry Lane Bradmore will be closed Easter Sunday, but open as normal for the rest of the weekend. For more information on Cherry Lane, and opening hours, visit www.cherry-lane.co.uk.
