Nutritionist - Cancer Expert Speaks at West Palm Beach CAM for Cancer Conference

SAVANNAH, Ga. - March 7, 2018 - PRLog -- At the 12^th Annual Annie Appleseed Conference CAM for Cancer   -

Dozens of National and International Cancer Experts held court.   3 days of sessions teaching, motivating and cheering an audience of hundreds of cancer patients,  cancer survivors, along with their families and friends.

The goal is for persons to learn that there is not one way to beat cancer, but many new and old natural therapies and modalities to combat cancer.

Doctors, Nurses, Nutritionists and practitioners in many other disciplines gather to serve and to share the many ways to outsmart cancer, to harness and unleash the body's own healing abilities and to live a happy and healthy life after cancer.

Carolyn Guilford, Savannah, Georgia cancer expert, nutritionist and wellness coach, was invited to return to the South Florida conference to share her special brand of creating wellness for clients.

Carolyn's talk offered attendees one of the first tools she uses in guiding clients along a successful path toward true health.  Saying that "to achieve healing in the stressful state of fear and uncertainty is very difficult, if not impossible, and that this first step is often overlooked as a consideration."

Ms. Guilford's talk titled "Burn the Past", was a story of devastation and loss, that unfolded into marvelous success.  Outlining the steps from mindset and lifestyle change, commitment and courage to stay the course, and then celebration.  A formula for success on which every road to success is paved.

After a diagnosis of cancer, or any life threating disease, the first question most persons will ask is "what do I do now?".  Careful consideration of the answer will set the stage for the outcome.

Rushing to treatment without thoughtful contemplation of treatment information, or even a second opinion, adds additional layers of stress, fear and often a sense of hopelessness.

Carolyn's advice is to pause and give thought to one's personal needs and wants, family concerns, to research and consider all available treatment options, before making a final decision.  In nearly every case time is on your side, take it.

Carolyn's approach in working with clients is to support their wellness decisions, to offer healthful nutrition and lifestyle choices and ways to implement them, while allaying their fears.  Acting as a guide and advocate, to answer questions, to help client understand the process, and to assist client in taking personal ownership of their care and outcome.

Carolyn says that fear and emotional stress can negatively affect outcome and must be abated early for success.  Whether the client chooses traditional or alternative treatment, I educate them on the many complementary modalities that can lessen pain and other side effects, how the right diet can maintain strength, all while mitigating much of the harm associated with traditional care.

Having a coach who is a cancer expert - in lifestyle and in nutrition, is imperative, just by virtue of the information and resources she has at her fingertips.  Bringing the right resources for an excellent outcome.
