HERMOSILLO, Mexico - Feb. 28, 2018 - PRLog -- Intugo announced through an event its operation expansion in Ciudad Obregón, Sonora, México, as part of its strategy to serve its most recent client: Onelink BPO. Ciudad Obregón is the main city in the county of Cajeme, in South Sonora. Intugo expects this new investment will create 400 jobs initially, with the goal of adding 800 more jobs openings over the course of 12 months.

ONELINK BPO is a key player in the contact center industry in Central and South America, and its goal is to serve its Latin American clients through this new center.

The announcement, which took place at the State of Sonora's City Hall in Hermosillo, was part of an event in which the Governor of Sonora, Ms. Claudia Pavlovich, personally welcomed ONELINK to the state, and enthusiastically emphasized the great business moment Ciudad Obregón (Cajeme) is currently experiencing.

"The most important thing is to maintain trust and communication; I'm sure Cajeme will be a source of pride and economic growth, which requires it and is already doing it," she said. "400 young professionals, with a goal of 1,200, will have the opportunity to grow personally and in their careers, that is very important to us."

Intugo and the Governor were joined by representatives of ONELINK, and by number of influential dignitaries, led by The Secretary of Economy of the State of Sonora, Jorge Vidal and the Mayor of Cajeme, Faustino Félix.

It was an exciting meeting where Intugo reflected on the consolidated relationship with the Sonora Community.

Secretary of Economy, Jorge Vidal Ahumada, stressed the importance of the industry of this type of company where communication technology is highlighted, since it requires skilled labor.

"It's very important because there are already 121 companies operating in the information technology industry (in Sonora), this will be very interesting, the workforce is very important and the investment of capital is also very important," he said.

During his participation at the event, Intugo's general manager, Felix Tonella Platt, commented on how this investment came along, and on how important it was to get support from the Technological Institute of Sonora, ITSON. The new expansion will be located in the SonoraSoft Technology Park of Ciudad Obregon, in which ITSON is a key player. The new center will serve Mexico and Latin America markets.

Added Mr Tonella: "This announcement is very important for us, Intugo has been in the contact center and software development industry for 12 years, and we have 2,000 employees in Sonora if we add that to our parent company we have 17,000 employees in Sonora, it fills us with pride."

OneLink's Country Manager, Walter Roulet Carrillo, thanked Governor Pavlovich for its involvement in this venture, and for the certainty that exists in Sonora, which makes it easy for companies to establish, since that is how the regions grow and how new jobs are created.

"I would like to thank the State of Sonora for receiving OneLink with great enthusiasm and giving us the necessary support to open our operations, helping us to promote initiatives that promote employment, and at the same time strengthen business relationships between brother countries," he said.

Other attendees to the event included: Luis Felipe Seldner, CEO of The Offshore Group, Felix Tonella Luken and Roberto Gomez del Campo, board members for the Offshore Group, VP of Business Development and Co-Founder of Intugo, Arturo Rodriguez; Dean for ITSON, José Vales; Director of COPRESON, Enrique Ruiz Sánchez; General Director of the System of Industrial Parks of Sonora, German Tapia; Director of Economic Development of Cajeme, Raul Montes; Director of Sonora Soft Technology Park, Laura Valdez; Director of COPRECO, Francisco Obregon; Municipal Secretary of Cajeme, Luis Armando Alcala.
