BANGALORE, India - Jan. 12, 2018 - PRLog -- Bangalore: The Crowned Magic Prince of India, Prof. M. C. Sarcar passed away from a massive heart attack.

Prof. M. C. Sarcar, founder and president of Karnataka Magic Academy (All India Magic Academy Trust), India's first and oldest school of Magic, changed the world of Magic in India. Through his unbending belief and enormous heart, he added value to millions of lives throughout his career. Trained by the Great Gogia Pasha, he became one of the most sought after illusionists of his time. After an accident in the 1980s, he opened Asia's Biggest Magic Studio. He was the creator of India's first ever Magic Kit, which was designed and manufactured by him.

During the cholera attack in Bangalore (late 1980s), he sold all of his properties and purchased the vaccine that saved thousands of lives, free of cost. He trained differently abled individuals, enabling them to lead dignified lives. Through his academy, students who became professional magicians went on to enter the Guinness Book of Records, Limca Book Of Records, television shows, movies and are leading a life of name, fame and money.

Prof. M. C. Sarcar was crowned as the Magic Prince of India by the Late Lal Bahadur Shastri, a testament to the fact that he was a true Emperor in this King of Arts.

Throughout his life, Prof. Sarcar became a pillar of strength, support and light to many. He always chose to see the best in people, he would take up students on whom everyone else had given up hope and transform them beyond recognition. One would feel light hearted and exuberant just by entering his presence, with the welcoming smile and warmth.

We will sorely miss you, Guruji!

Please join us in celebrating his life on the 12th of January, 2018 between 3pm and 4pm at the Anandpur Trust Ashram, Kensington Road, near Ulsoor Lake, Bangalore.
