MFG.com Appoints Michael Vining Vice President of Marketplace Operations

Vining to the position of vice president of marketplace operations. The position, created specifically for him, reflects his wide-ranging understanding of the platform in its current configuration and a deep appreciation for the potential it holds for all of its stakeholders.

Vining first served as a strategic consultant to MFG.com, offering counsel and advice to executive management as they charted a new course for the marketplace. Later, in 2015, he became sales manager and worked to increase supplier subscriptions and expand both the quality and amount of opportunities available to buyers and suppliers. His efforts contributed not only to customer base expansion but also the addition of major international firms and government entities to the roster of entities using MFG.com as a sourcing resource. In 2016, he became director of sales, leading the sales force toward the objective of solidifying and expanding the platform's position as the industry leader in global, online sourcing.
