| ![]() ChickyFox Musical Storybook App for ChildrenInteractive storybook with hand-painted animal characters comes with free music video and audio playback to read to keep toddlers engaged.
By: Happy Ring Ring The title of the app suggests it's a sequel to 'Oh Mommy!", an iPad app which was launched by the same maker in 2010. Notable for its hand-drawn artwork, the story introduces kids of ages 3 and above to a little chick called Chicky, together with her animal friends, rescuing her mother who was kidnapped by the evil Fox. The story, which is inspired by old folklore "Hen and the Fox", was written by Syafrizal Sharif and illustrated and animated by Amin Kamis, both the founder of Happy Ring Ring, who were working on the development of the concept for the past 7 years before they finally manage to kicked off the production with a team of illustrator, animator and developers in 2016. When ChickyFox Musical Storybook series launches globally in June, the six-chapters book will include titles such as; I'm on My Way, Don't Give Up, and Come Home. They are all rhyming books and suitable for kids aged up to eight, with available feature for the app to read it to the younger users. The app contains audio and animated characters with action which allows kids to interact with the characters and scenes from the books. Readers can also watch the two minutes animated music video from each chapter. It will be available on Google Play and Apple Store with iBook and Amazon Kindle versions of the book are currently in the works. ChickyFox Musical Storybook has received financial support under the Creative Industry Development Fund (CIDF) by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC).
