Michael Crain, PE, Joins Halff as Subsurface Utility Engineering Practice Leader

RICHARDSON, Texas - Nov. 14, 2016 - PRLog -- Halff Associates, Inc. (Halff), one of the nation's leading engineering/architecture consulting firms, is proud to announce that Michael Crain, PE, has joined Halff.  Michael brings nearly 17 years of experience in subsurface utility engineering (SUE), utility coordination (UC), and management for a wide range of transportation and major utility infrastructure projects. Most recently, Michael served as the SUE/UC Operations Manager for a major regional consulting firm. He joins Halff as the SUE Practice Leader with the goal of helping maintain and expand the firm's SUE/UC client base in the southwest region.

Michael has extensive experience working with state DOT's in Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana for large- and small-scale transportation projects, as well as municipalities, electric providers, and oil & gas companies. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in 13 states, including Texas, where he is pre-certified in numerous Texas Department of Transportation categories.

Michael earned his bachelor's degrees in Civil Engineering and Architecture from Texas Tech University and is a member of several professional and industry-related associations, including the Texas Society of Professional Engineers (TSPE).
