Daylon Graphics releases Flexwords

VANCOUVER, British Columbia - Nov. 12, 2016 - PRLog -- Daylon Graphics has released a new multiplayer word board game called Flexwords. It takes the Scrabble^® concept to the next level: played letters can be reused, multiple words can be played on each turn, and played letters can even be taken back into one's tray. Players can define their own bonus square layout schemes, even non-symmetrical ones.

The Flexwords UI supports English, French, and Spanish, and offers both a skeuomorphic game board and a newer "flat" appearance in line with today's streamlined mobile UI. For gameplay, English and French language dictionaries are available.

"After careful consideration, I felt that allowing tile reuse was the way to go." explains Ray Gardener, lead programmer. "It presented some difficulties to implement at first, but in the end, it really opens up lots of fun and novel possibilities in terms of tactics and strategy. I don't imagine it will ever be as mainstream as Scrabble since it's a bit more complex, but for anyone seeking a higher level of gameplay in this medium, I think they'll find it a lot of fun. The game also allows for avatars (player icons) to be created if one is unavailable. Since such avatars are defined and stored on the client device, players can choose avatars that help them identify opponents more easily.
