By: CollegeSearch.in To cater to the aspirants who happened to fill their forms incorrectly, IIM Bangalore has started the error correction process from October 1. Aspirants will be given 5 days to correct mistakes that they committed while filling the application form. However, only three types of mistakes can be corrected as per the module of IIM Bangalore. It is the very first time that such a process has been initiated. Registered candidates need to visit the CAT application form page on the official website and make the allowed changes. Candidates are only allowed to change details like are work Experience, percentage of marks scored, and programs selected. Anything apart from these fields cannot be edited. These details were shared by Prof Bandi, CAT exam Convener and Faculty of IIM Bangalore. Moreover, now the PWD candidates can submit any requests related to assistance that they require at the test centre during the conduct of CAT (http://www.collegesearch.in/ CAT exam is a computer based test which will be held in 138 test cities across the country. The exam comprises of three sections - Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Quantitative Aptitude (QA) that have to be attempted in 3 hours – 60 minutes are allotted to each section. The marking scheme is such that every correct answer will award 3 marks and on the other hand a negative marking of 1 mark will be applied for every incorrect answer. CAT 2016 admit cards will be available for download from 18th October onwards. Admit cards will entail all the important details like test city & venue as well as the allotted time slot.
