| 1 Day to go for announcement of JEE Main 2016 Results!By: CollegeSearch.in About 12 lakh aspirants appeared for the exam and its result will dictate their fate. In order to check the result aspirants can follow the below steps: - Visit the official website of JEE Main or CBSE - conducting body of the exam - Click on the link for JEE Main 2016 Result - Enter the required details like registration or application number, date of birth and name - Click on the submit button - The result will be displayed on the screen - Take print out of the result The result will put full stop to the anxiety of candidates who have been eagerly waiting for the result after the completion of the exam. The result will facilitate admission to the NITs, IIITs and CFTIs; moreover it acts as an eligibility criterion for JEE Advanced. Only top 1.5 score holders of JEE Main qualify to appear for JEE Advanced. JEE Advanced will be conducted on 22nd May, 2016; this time the expected cut off for JEE Advanced 2016 is as below: General: 108 OBC: 69 SC:49 ST: 43 After the declaration of JEE Main scores, a separate list entailing the All India Rank (AIR) of all candidates will be released. This list will be used by the NITs, IIITs and CFTIs to carry out their admissions and it will be out on 30th June, 2016.
