Follow on Google News | Better Together: A Community for ChristChristian Author and Mentor Delivers Messages of Hope and Inspiration With a Little Help from Her Friends
By: psa3 Noted Christian author Frances Gregory Paschrecently commenced a campaign to connect other writers in her genre, in an effort to join together to inspire the general public with messages of hope. The 82-year-old author of Double Vision: Seeing God in Everyday Life Through Devotions and Poetry, published by Lighthouse Publishing of the Carolinas, now features a Community page on her popular website, www.francesgregorypasch.com. She intends to grow her site into a showcase of Christian writers, as well as a resource for people everywhere. "I hope that my Community page will draw new people to my website, so in addition to reading my devotions and poems, they can meet other Christian writers by clicking on their websites," says Pasch, a mother of five and grandmother of nine. "Hopefully, together we can make a difference." In addition to the burgeoning community-building initiative on her website, Pasch is ramping up her digital and social media outreach with a goal of giving her network of writers a grander stage to spread the gospel message. About her popular book, Pasch says, "Once I started reading the Bible and developed a personal relationship with Jesus, I began looking at everyday experiences from a spiritual perspective too. Double Vision is a collection of 30 devotions, each coupled with a poem on the same topic. This format is a double eye-opener—two ways of looking at the same spiritual truth." According to the prolific writer and prominent Christian devotions figure, whose work has been published in more than 50 magazines and books, "With the condition of the world today, I have developed a strong desire to share the gospel message. I want people to know that Jesus loves them regardless of what they have done and where they are in their life now. I write my devotions and poetry to share my love of the Lord and to uplift each person who reads them. I hope these short nuggets and the writings of my peers will draw them closer to God.
