Collectively, Rowhill brings practical field leadership experience from multiple engagements in Europe, Africa, South America, Middle East, and Asiafor the energy sector since 2002. James Sheegog is former Assistant Dean at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business and Partner in charge of Global Organization Development at PriceWaterhouseCoopers. Ken Graham is former Director of Shell's EP Leadership Development in The Hague. Dave Masson has years of reservoir-engineering experience in Shell's operating companies in Brunei, Oman, and Argentina. With a track record in aerospace, advanced manufacturing, government, and R&D healthcare, Rowhill is a significant advisory player in the energy sector. Mr. Sheegog, founder and President at Rowhill comments, "The VTEC gathering in Mexico City comes at the most opportune time as the industry implements significant reforms in the face of consolidation and global price volatility. Over 135,000 new workers are required in coming years to meet the growing production demand in newly opened markets. Our job is to generate collaborative strategies for recruitment, technical skill development, and localized resources for technical education. Rowhill is dedicated to facilitating practical dialogues between representatives from government, technical colleges, and commercial training suppliers." Rowhill has taken on significant global projects in the sector over the past decade. In 2002, Rowhill was invited by Royal Dutch Shell to design and initiate a global leadership development effort for leaders on the front lines of exploration and production. Rowhill engineered an intensive coaching and educational effort that bolstered practical leadership skills in conflict management, negotiation, employee engagement, and strategic thinking. Dr. Ken Graham recalls, " The Rowhill team partnered with the client to take on challenges in every region. For Shell to build a strong leadership model, we needed Rowhill to leave The Hague and develop trust with our people managing in-country operations." In 2006, Rowhill was asked to build leadership capabilities for Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation. The five-year effort brought a set of practical leadership skills to NNPC. From the most senior levels to newly recruited graduates, all shared the same language of leadership. In 2013 Rowhill was invited by Kuwait's largest petrochemical producer to build senior leadership qualities necessary to drive a cultural change and to execute a new CEO vision. In response, Rowhill developed Action-Based Leadership- a hybrid service model that helps companies accelerate strategic results while developing future leaders. Action-Based Leadership includes practical application and skill practice with challenging real-time scenarios. Mr. Sheegog states, "We are extremely proud of the breakthrough methodologies that has come through our partnership with energy clients. We believe the GetEnergy VTEC Event in Mexico City is an important opportunity to stimulate innovations in human capital across government, global energy companies, and local institutions."
