Record first half of the year for Norkem Group's Food and Drink Department

KNUTSFORD, U.K. - Sept. 7, 2016 - PRLog -- The appointment of a new UK Account Manager in 2015 helped the team gain a number of key customers allowing steady and impressive growth with sales to the soft drinks industry in particular having shown very strong performance.

In addition to recruitment, the company's dedication to ensuring compliance in all areas of this highly regulated industry saw Norkem obtain its BRC Global Agents and Brokers accreditation in December 2015.  BRC Global Standards was the first standard to be recognised as meeting the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) benchmark and ensures the highest levels of competence in all key areas of food safety.
