2016 Great Lakes Bay Kids Fest & Backpack Giveaway

SAGINAW, Mich. - Aug. 17, 2016 - PRLog -- Celebrate the end of summer and the start of a new school year at the 2016 Great Lakes Bay Kids Fest on Saturday, August 27th from 1:00pm – 6:00pm at Saginaw's Ojibway Island.

The KMS Agency, Women of Colors, The Michigan Banner Newspaper, Mu Alpha Omega Chapter of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and the National Organization for the Professional Advancement of Black Chemists and Chemical Engineers (NOBCChE) are partnering to bring both classic and unique family fun to the Great Lakes Bay region.

Attendees will enjoy free food, inflatables, games and prizes, a scavenger hunt around the island, a petting zoo, an auto show, STEM games under the Dow tent, an interactive science show from Dr. Slime, cool arts and crafts like "Design Your Own Tiara" with Miss Saginaw County 2017 Kara Terry and much more! There will be tons of surprises and giveaways including free t-shirts to the first 300 guests and free backpacks and school supplies guaranteed to the first 500 school aged kids in attendance.
