Mike Cracchiolo named Director of TalentPlus Entertainment, LLC

ST. LOUIS - June 13, 2016 - PRLog -- Mike Cracchiolo, co-owner and Talent Buyer for local St. Louis venues The Firebird and The Ready Room, will be taking on the role of Director at TalentPlus Entertainment LLC. Cracchiolo has been managing local venues and running public relations and promotions for shows for over ten years.

During his time at The Firebird and The Ready Room, Cracchiolo has worked with national acts such as: Panic! At the Disco, 3 Days Grace, Of Montreal, Veruca Salt, The Dandy Warhols, Tycho, Janeane Garofalo, Marc Maron, Doug Benson, and more. Hosting the first plays for bands like Imagine Dragons, Twenty One Pilots and Chris Stapleton in the market, Cracchiolo has long been on the forefront for spotting emerging talent and forecasting entertainment trends, such as the recent LAN parties and silent discos at The Ready Room.

"I was born and raised in St. Louis. When I was a teenager and in my early twenties, if you wanted to do something cool, people thought that you had to move somewhere else. I've always resented that attitude. St. Louis has always had a diamond in the rough quality- you can see it in the food, craft beer, and music. My very first endeavor [The Bluebird] was to open a stage to cater to the local music scene," Cracchiolo remembers. After performing with a band for awhile and getting some hands on experience as a touring musician, Cracchiolo knew that his long-term plan was to work in the business side of music. With a little money and a big vision, he partnered with Tom Moslander and Jimmy Vavak and they pulled together what is now one of the top rock venues in town: The Firebird, formerly known as The Bluebird. The Firebird opened it's doors in 2009 and has continued to be a mainstay in the St. Louis music scene.

In 2014, Cracchiolo opened the doors to The Ready Room, which caters to an even wider variety of national touring artists including musicians, burlesque, comedy and other performance. Boasting a capacity of 750, The Ready Room has become one of the top hot spots in the city, recently becoming the only St. Louis venue to be named to Consequence of Sound's "Top 100 Greatest American Venues" list. "As soon as Ready Room was open, I had climbed my personal Everest." After years of being a key change maker in the St. Louis music scene, Cracchiolo is "excited to pursue new challenges and step into a different world [with TalentPlus Entertainment]."
