BANGALORE, India - May 7, 2016 - PRLog -- Healthcare workers are exposed to Hazardous drugs which are chemicals which can cause toxicity like carcinogenicity, genotoxicity, teratogenicity, reproductive toxicity, or organ toxicity. Healthcare workers are involved in drug preparations, drug administration & Disposal of drugs. It is very important & necessary that nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare workers should be cautious & handle drugs carefully. Many studies have demonstrated presence of hazardous drugs in the urine.  Nasal sores, hair loss kind of symptoms are occurred due to occupational exposure.  It can lead to adverse reactions like infertility, miscarriages & DNA damage. All healthcare workers should be addressed with Guidelines, policies, procedures, education & training. Safety devices, safe work practices, Personal protective equipment can reduce occupational Hazardous drug exposures.
