PRLog -- After a one year hiatus, First Parish Congregational Church of Wakefield brought back their popular Passion Play with a modern twist under the direction of Jo Lynn Foster and Angelique Torroni. This year's Passion Play "He's Alive" paralleled the struggles of a widow and her daughter with scripture from the New Testament and was performed on the Thursday and Friday before Easter. For many the modern adaption was relatable and moving, Peter Solomon of Wakefield said "I walked away from the opening night performance moved and inspired, so much so, I attended the Friday night performance and I was even more moved and transformed by this powerful portrayal of the Passion of Christ through the eyes of a widow and her daughter. Indeed, 'He's Alive' Bravo!" and Diane Steniford of Saugus said, "I just wanted to let you know how blessed my brother and I were with the production last night. The message was beautiful and moving, I was brought to tears and filled with emotion. You truly made my Easter!"
The production offered many opportunities for ministry after each performance exemplifying the church mission "Our worship concludes-our service begins." FPCC
