Chesapeake Regional Tech Council Announces Three New Board Members

ANNAPOLIS, Md. - March 29, 2016 - PRLog -- The Chesapeake Regional Tech Council (CRTC), the industry organization dedicated to connecting, educating and advocating for the region's technology industry, today announced that it has elected three new members to its board of directors: Lawrence Duncan III, Lockheed Martin; Dorothea Henderson, Rockwell Collins; and Dana Liedholm, Comtech Telecommunications Group (formerly TeleCommunication Systems, Inc.).

"We are thrilled to welcome these accomplished individuals to our board of directors," said Tami Howie, executive director of the Chesapeake Regional Tech Council. "As executives from some of the largest technology companies in the country, they each bring a broad understanding of the opportunities and challenges facing technology companies today. Together, with the other members of our strong and knowledgeable board, they will help us achieve our goal of making this region one of the largest and most powerful tech hubs in the country."

Lawrence (Larry) Duncan III is vice president for Federal and State Government Relations & PAC Affairs at Lockheed Martin, serving as a senior liaison to federal and state government officials on national defense programs and important business issues. Duncan is also treasurer of the Lockheed Martin Employees Political Action Committee (LMEPAC), managing LMEPAC filings with Federal Election Commission and ensuring compliance with all federal and state election laws and regulations. Duncan works with the operating companies to provide counsel and advocacy on state and local government issues, including tax, economic assistance, and the environment, and he supports numerous business pursuits.

Dorothea (Dori) Henderson, senior director of Technology Services and Operations for Rockwell Collins' Information Management Services (IMS) business unit, is responsible for Rockwell Collins' Backoffice Services, Operational Global Network, IMS 7x24 Operations, and Mission Critical Facilities Management. She takes on various areas of responsibility to include architecture, SW development, cybersecurity, data center management, network engineering, and system administration. Henderson's team is responsible for architecture comprised of 25+ best of breed, highly integrated applications and two global networks providing fully managed services to customers worldwide.

Dana Liedholm is the director of Commercial Partnerships at Comtech Telecommunications Corp. Liedholm has long been passionate and committed to driving innovation in technology. A twenty-year veteran of the mid-atlantic technology community, she held the position of marketing director of the Chesapeake Innovation Center, and then moved on to local tech start-up Zenoss, before joining TCS as director of marketing. A long-standing member of the CRTC, Dana is well-connected with many CRTC members, and has used her network to connect talented people to jobs, and companies to business opportunities. She embraces the chance to charitably share her marketing talents and skills, as well as her connections, to contribute to the community.
