PRLog -- The group came together at Priscilla Dames' FABULOUS themed gathering to celebrate 'us'. It is a diverse group of business owners, elected officials, retirees, millennials, artists, and others that encompass several states. indigoLife magazine publisher, Dr. Alicia Ritchey, found interest in Fabulous' move to build community which mirrors that of the magazine. Based in Georgia, indigoLife's mission is based on inclusive community building that uplifts, empowers and transforms with a focus on sustaining relationships. Fabulous will make its magazine debut during March, Women's History Month. Introducing the Ladies of Fabulous will be held on March 26, 2016 at MindWarehouse on a renovated floor with 7, 000 square feet of open space. Its white walls and unshielded windows overlooking downtown Miami from the 7
th floor will create the perfect ambience for this new group of amazing women. We didn't have to go far to create a program. Members include the founder and some members of an international jazz organization, poets, a harpist and other artists. Jus' Cynthia, Rochelle Lightfoot and Maryel Epps will sing while May Reign will grace the guests with her spoken word. Business owners will be privy to vending spots for their businesses as sponsors will provide horsd'oeuvres, wine and cognac to round out the evening. A portion of the minimal proceeds from the anticipated 200 attendees will assist Miami Gardens Vice- Mayor Robinson's Literature campaign, The perfect Cut. Other elected members include Miramar, FL Commissioner Yvette Colbourne and Dr. Dorothy Bendross Mindingall, Vice-Chairwoman of the Miami-Dade Public Schools. The ladies of Fabulous have collected donations to assist at risk foster girls in the Broward County Girl Power Program.
Though Fabulous is an online, closed group that began with 63 attendees to a birthday party, its numbers have exceeded 100 members.
