Builders St. Charles Home Show is the Place to See, Learn About and Buy the Latest Home Products

ST. LOUIS - March 10, 2016 - PRLog -- The 12^th Annual Builders St. Charles Home Show is April 8-10 at St. Charles Convention Center, with free admission and parking. The Show is the place for area consumers to shop, compare and buy the latest home products and services. Local companies and hundreds of experts will help visitors find just what they need to complete that Honey Do list!

The St. Charles Convention Center is conveniently located just off Interstate 70 at Fifth Street in St. Charles and has 70,000 square feet of exhibit space and 1,100 free parking spaces. St. Louisans can find windows, doors, fencing, decks, kitchen and bath products, pools, spas, home accessories and much more - plus experts who can answer all of their home improvement questions.

Charlie Nardozzi, gardening expert, will present seminars on the Better Living Theater stage. Charlie is a nationally recognized garden writer, speaker and radio/television personality. He has spent more than 20 years bringing expert gardening information to home gardeners and delights in making gardening information simple, fun and accessible to everyone. He co-hosts "In The Garden" on his local CBS station (WCAX-Channel 3) and a weekly call-in radio show on WJOY-1230AM. Charlie has written for national magazines like Organic Gardening and contributed to many of the "Gardening for Dummies" titles, authoring Urban Gardening for Dummies in 2013 and Vegetable Gardening for Dummies. His latest book all about edible landscaping is called Foodscaping (CSP Press, 2015).

Charlie is the former host of PBS's Garden Smart, reaching more than 60 million households. He has also been a gardening expert on many national syndicated television and radio shows such as HGTV's "Today at Home," Discovery Channel's "Home Matters," Sirius Radio's Martha Stewart Living, and Garden Life Radio. Charlie will present two seminars - Foodscaping: A Practical Guide to Edible Landscaping and Low Maintenance Landscape Gardening.

Toby Trentadue, with Henry Plumbing Kitchen and Bath Gallery, presents Five Ways to Maximize your 5' x 8' Bathroom Space. In this seminar, he will talk about dimension and configuration solutions, clever ways to make small spaces look larger, how to make big statements on budgets small and large, storage ideas that make sense and the demographic of a remodel for possible resale of a home.

Visitors won't want to miss the 10^th Annual St. Charles Sausage Festival & Wine Tasting. This special feature area will have free tastings from Missouri sausage producers and wineries. Show visitors can also purchase items to take home. Davis Meat Processing, G&W Meat & Bavarian Style Sausage and Hermann Wurst Haus will offer samples of tasty summer sausages and bratwursts, plus various smoked and cured products. Attendees can also taste a variety of wines from Fahrmeier Family Vineyards & Winery, Stone Hill Winery and Westphalia Vineyards.

Attendees get to be floral designers when they participate in Walter Knoll Floral Seminars, hands-on floral design classes full of fun, innovative ideas presented by Walter Knoll Florist's world-class design team. People will be able to create their own bouquet to take home or give as a gift. They can choose from several types of bouquets, each with a value of at least $80. Classes have a nominal $10 fee per class and space is limited.

Show visitors can shop the Habitat ReStore Building Products Sale, where they can purchase a variety of home improvement merchandise at deep discounts. The variety of merchandise available is ever-changing, but there are always great deals!

Visit the Spa and Swim Spa Super Sale, sponsored by SPAS AND MORE! This spectacular sale offers show visitors the opportunity to save 30-60% off regular retail prices, with more than 100 spas and swim spas to choose from! A 2,700 square foot tent will be located just outside the main Show entrance in the south parking lot.

The Home show is always a family-friendly event, and this year the Show is excited to have hands-on kids activities from The Magic House. Friday from 3:00-6:00 p.m. kids can create Mini Masterpieces, choosing from three different art projects. Saturday from 12:00-4:00 p.m. kids can challenge their fitness skills on a fun obstacle course. Sunday from 12:00-3:00 p.m. kids can participate in fun, educational science activities.

Plus see an amazing display made from more than 100,000 Lego bricks! Visitors will have fun checking out all the details of this city-themed display, then can purchase models to take home. Many of Lego's current kits will be available, as well as custom models created by TimeToStack. Kits range from 10 to 2,000 pieces and vary from $1 to $400 for large, limited sets. There will also be retired models for sale that are no longer in production and hard to find.
