The New Jersey Technology Council Announces First Event of 2016: The Innovation Forecast

Feb. 9, 2016 - PRLog -- New Jersey, February 9, 2016 – Continuously pushing the boundaries of learning and innovation, the New Jersey Technology Council (NJTC), is pleased to announce its first major event of 2016 - The Innovation Forecast, which will take place on February 11th at the Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory.

The highly anticipated event will showcase innovation throughout the region and will kickoff with keynote speaker Sanjay Macwan - Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at NBC Universal, accompanied by presentations from leading innovators from both small and large companies. Macwan has extensive experience in the development and acceleration of Technology start-ups, strategic analysis of ecosystems including web, ad/search, social networks, and content; along with holding 15 patents, and an additional 25 patent applications in process.

In addition, there will also be various panel discussions on how new ideas will be funded and executed in 2016 and beyond.

·      Eric Steiger, Director of Corporate Development & Innovation Independence - Blue Cross

·      Shahram Hejazi, Venture Partner - BioAdvance

President and CEO of the NJTC, Jim Barrood stated, “The Innovation Forecast is one of our most anticipated events of 2016. We love kicking off the New Year listening to top experts predict and showcase some of the most anticipated innovation in tech for the upcoming year.”
