As we begin our 20th year of service to the community, it is critical that we seek to better serve our members and broader region in our goal to maintain and strengthen our tech hub as the second largest worldwide.” Gaboury’s extensive 16 year background with Yorktel, serving as Chief Financial Officer, President and Chief Operating Officer, has established a leading position in the videoconferencing market by successfully leveraging its core expertise into commercial markets. In this capacity he also coordinated the company’s corporate development functions, with special attention on acquisitions, investments and overall business expansion. During Gaboury’s time with the Tech Council he has been instrumental fostering new partnerships and a strong advocate of the development of new programs. Along with the recent appointment of Ron Gaboury, the Council has also added several new council members to the Board of Directors including Rita Gurevich - President and Founder of SPHERE Technology Solutions, Ali Houshmand, Ph.D. - President of Rowan University, Christopher Molloy, Ph.D. - Senior Vice President, Research and Economic Development at Rutgers, Inderpal Singh Mumick, Ph.D. - Chairman and CEO of Kirusa, Venu Myneni – Founder/CEO of Radiant Group and Chairman and Managing Director of RADIANT INFO SYSTEMS LTD, Gene Waddy - CEO and owner of DIVERSANT LLC, and Monica C. Smith - Founder/CEO, Marketsmith, Inc., Founder/Chairwoman/ The NJ Tech Council Board of Directors is comprised of tech and business leaders from a variety of the technology and life sciences industry sectors as well as academic representatives.
