Beckatt Solutions to showcase 3D printing technology on Global 3D Printing Day Thursday December 3rd

ELGIN, Ill. - Dec. 2, 2015 - PRLog -- During the hours of 12:00-6:00 pm, the Beckatt office will be open to visitors to learn about the history and future of 3D printing, as well as see demonstrations of a number of 3D printers.  Throughout the day, Beckatt will host speakers to talk about 3D printing, showcase a variety of 3D printed parts in different materials and allow guests to see the printers in action.  Beckatt employees will also help visitors with their 3D files, if they have something they would like to have printed.

Beckatt Solutions will demonstrate Mcor Technologies and their line of paper-based 3D printers, including the Matrix 300+ and the Iris, the only 3D printer to meet the International Color Consortium’s standard for HD color accuracy.  Beckatt Solutions will also show the MakerBot Replicator, a commercially-available desktop 3D printer, and the MarkForged Mark One Composite 3D Printer, which uses continuous fiber reinforcement inside nylon parts to provide extremely durable and light-weight 3D prints.  Prints from Mcor, MakerBot and MarkForged will be on display for attendees to examine, and live demonstrations of all three printers will be available.
