Beckatt Solutions and Toryon Technologies to Co-Host Industry Education Day in Las Vegas on Aug. 1st

LAS VEGAS - July 26, 2019 - PRLog -- Beckatt Solutions, 3D printer distributor with offices in Chicago, Phoenix and Las Vegas, is co-hosting an event with Toryon Technologies on August 1^st, 2019, from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas.  The event, an industry education day, is focused on education and demonstrations for companies in the additive manufacturing (or 3D printing) and 2D digital printing industries.  The event will focus on specific applications and case studies, as well as industry best practices and items specific to 3D and digital printing.  Live demonstrations on a number of 3D printers and digital printers will be available throughout the event.

Michael Storey, an industry expert on 3D printing and Managing Partner of Beckatt Solutions, will speak to the advances and latest innovations in 3D printing.  "Additive manufacturing, commonly known as 3D printing, is quickly becoming a serious and established tool in numerous fields" said Storey.  "From design and prototyping to workholding customization and even production, additive manufacturing is gaining widespread adoption due to its improvements in capabilities and the falling costs of equipment."  Attendees of the event will learn about the latest in materials advances in additive manufacturing, as well as small-scale, desktop 3D printing, which enables engineers and production managers to produce parts using cost-competitive production technology.  Storey's presentations will include an introduction to 3D printing and a seminar on choosing the correct 3D printer for your business.

Attendees at the event will have time to network with fellow professionals.  In addition, there will be sample 3D printed parts from a number of 3D printing technologies.  Most notably, Storey will showcase parts printed with a wide variety of materials from industry-leading manufacturers Ultimaker, EnvisionTEC and Sintratec.

Attendees from the 2D digital printing world will have access to presentations from HP's Steven Kotars on HP Print OS and the HP Stitch, as well as a presentation from Randy Schuette of Avery Dennison on Profitability with Media Solutions.  An overview of Onyx V19 will kick off the day's events.  Attendees will be able to see a number of wide format printers and samples at the event.
