Siborg Systems Inc. Offering Sale on LCR-Reader and Smart Tweezers LCR-meters for Black Friday

LCR-Reader and Smart Tweezers are handheld LCR-meters that make working with SMT easy and more time-efficient. They have grown in popularity since the Smart Tweezers debut in the early 2000's.

Unlike conventional bench-type testers that require set-up between measurements and using both hands to work the long wire leads, LCR-Reader and Smart Tweezers are a combination of a set of tweezers and a lightweight LCR-meter in a handheld unit. When a component is between the gold-plated tweezers, the device will automatically determine the type of component and best test range before measuring for L, C, or R and any secondary values such as the ESR. All measurement results are than displayed on the embedded OLED display.

The LCR-Reader has a basic accuracy of 1% and functions the same as other models, but doesn't have features such as component sorting, offset subtraction or diode/continuity testing. Recently, Siborg had sent 4 randomly selected devices to Navair Technologies, one of Canada's premier calibration houses; they determined that the basic accuracy of LCR-Reader was closer to 0.5% than 1%.

This model also comes with an NIST Traceable Calibration Certificate, which is required for companies to stay ISO compliant.
