-- Last year, over 400,000 people in the Philadelphia area struggled with hunger, and 90% of Philadelphia’
s food banks faced a severe shortage. In the spirit of giving, The Thompson Organization is proud to support two food drives this holiday season to benefit the Delaware Valley. Lexus has introduced its new “RX Food Drive”
initiative, and Thompson Lexus will be collecting non-perishable and canned goods in the showroom between now and December 8th. On December 9th, a caravan of RXs will pick up our donations and deliver them to local food banks in need of supplies.
Porsche of Bucks County will also be accepting donations for the “Phil-a-Frunk”
program organized by the Risentöter Porsche Club. Donations can be dropped off in the Porsche showroom and service center. On December 2nd, all the food will be loaded into the Porsches’ frunks (front trunks) and driven to 93.3 WMMR’s “Camp Out for Hunger” crew at Xfinity Live. Last year the RPC was able to donate nearly 7,600 pounds of food to struggling food banks. We are eager to help them reach that goal again this year, but we need your help. Please help us fight hunger in our communities this year.
