SEM Link kicks off its End of the Year Giving Campaign

ATLANTA - Nov. 12, 2015 - PRLog -- Science, Engineering and Mathematics Link Inc. (SEM Link), kicks off its “End of the Year Giving Campaign” on November 12 on Georgia Gives Day.  This year is SEM Link’s 4^th year as a participating charity for Georgia Gives Day, whose purpose Georgia Gives Day is to bring the state together as one community, to raise as much money and awareness as possible for Georgia nonprofits within a 24-hour, flash mob of giving. Although the goal is for individuals to donate on November 13, the website is available for donations year round.  Individuals interested in making a donation to SEM Link  by visiting SEM Link’s Georgia Gives Day page at  https://www.gagivesday.org/c/GGD/a/semsuccess.  “This Georgia Gives Day is a special one for the organization because we are celebrating our 10^th Anniversary. It was 10 year ago at a middle school in Atlanta that we started our program activities and over the years we have grown to an organization that serves youth in the place in three urban areas.” stated Ms. Tokiwa T. Smith SEM Link Founder and Executive Director.

In honor of our 10^th Anniversary SEM Link’s  is asking individuals to make a minimum financial contribution of $10 to the End of the Year Giving Campaign (http://www.semsuccess.org/) between now and December 31^st .  In addition to making a financial contribution, the  organization is asking individuals to earn money for the organization while doing their holiday shopping. When individuals register for and designate Science, Engineering and Mathematics Link Inc. as the charity they support on Amazon Smile (http://smile.amazon.com/ch/34-2050759) and GoodShop (http://www.goodshop.com/) the organization receives a portion of their sale as a donation.  Individuals can make contributions year round to SEM Link’s “Donate Your Lunch Money Campaign” (http://bit.ly/DonateYourLunchMoney). Individuals can also make their contributions by mailing their check or money order made payable to SEM Link to P.O.Box 30441, Oakland, CA 94604.
