When Does a Sin Become "Forbidden"?

HOLLYWOOD, Md. - Oct. 14, 2015 - PRLog -- Any given sin—whether it be Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Sloth, Wrath, Envy or Pride is a choice made by all of us daily. No one is totally free from sin…and in the case of Maryland-based Rock band ANY GIVEN SIN…it’s about time!

AGS has just announced the release of their much-anticipated new CD, "Forbidden". It's been just over a year (and three studios later) in the making--and AGS is unleashing the beast with this latest offering!

John Moyer (Disturbed) served as Producer for “Forbidden” and additionally lent his talents in co-writing the title track with the band. This CD is the second for Any Given Sin and is the follow-up to their first self-produced and critically acclaimed CD, "The Other Side".

According to John Moyer, “These guys have worked hard and I’m proud of what we did together…check them out!”

Any Given Sin is comprised of: Erik O'Dell (vocals), Mike Conner (guitar), Mike Showalter (drums) and Henry Lopez (bass). Forged in late 2012, AGS is poised to pounce with the hard-hitting CD “Forbidden”—and like most things “off limits”…it leaves you wanting it MORE!

Fronting Any Given Sin and lending his hand on the guitar is Erik O'Dell—who masterfully commands the stage, all the while holding the audience in rapt attention. Mike Conner brings down the “ax” as the lead crunch behind Any Given Sin—with a drive only rivaled by his “take-no-prisoners” attitude. Mike Showalter holds court behind the kit, with machine-like precision that packs a punch that reverberates in the mind long after the pounding is through. Bassist Henry Lopez lords over the low tones…with a rumble that rocks the Richter scale!

Mike Conner of AGS states, “I have always been very passionate about my music and my bands, to the point that I have sacrificed many other aspects of my life to pursue my passion. I have spent years looking for just the right mixture of chemistry, talent and drive from other musicians…I have finally found that band.”

AGS has appeared with such notables as: Texas Hippie Coalition, Nonpoint, Saliva, Sevendust, Dope, Soil and Drowning Pool--to name only a few--and are looking forward to sharing the stage with many more and to hitting the road in spring of 2016, much to the delight of their avid fan base.
