NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Aug. 14, 2015 - PRLog -- If you haven't circled a few dates on your calendar to make sure you watch this or that game this upcoming football season, let me help you kick start that process for you.

We are just under three weeks until the 2015-2016 college football season starts on September 3. There are many games throughout the season, and most of these games can spell that this will be another stellar year in college football all the way to the second annual College Football Playoffs. Of course there are going to be some traditional rivalry games listed that could decide a playoff bid and conference title hopes, but we are also going to be in for real treats with non-conference games as well.

Here is a few games in my personal opinion that you should watch throughout the season.

#1 Oklahoma at Tennessee September 12.

Last year, the young Volunteers went to Norman against a veteran team in the Sooners, and they didn't seem like they were ready to go up against such a powerhouse team early on in the season. This year, it seems that the script will be flipped when the two school collide in Knoxville.

The Volunteers started 20 freshman in 2014 yet they compiled a respectable season by giving the Orange their first winning season since 2009 that ended with a dominating performance against Iowa in the Taxslayer Bowl. All of those freshmen will return to Rocky Top, Tennessee, and they are backed up with an excellent recruiting class.

Oklahoma on the other hand ended last season in a downward spiral. The Sooners were highly ranked to start their season but ended up losing five games and were completely embarrassed by Clemson in the Russell Athletic Bowl. Their best performer last year was freshmen running back Samaje Perine, who set the FBS single-game rushing record with 427 yards in a win against Kansas.

Expect 100,000 plus Volunteer fans that will pack Neyland Stadium and make the atmosphere very difficult for the Sooners to compete. With the Volunteers on the up-rise and so much hype going for them this year, this will be a great game where we will see if they are who many experts say they are.

#2 Georgia at Auburn November 7.

The past couple of seasons, we have seen from this game that it will either make or break one of their seasons, and expect this year to be no different.

The winner of the game the past two years pretty much had them still in contention for the SEC Title. We had "The Prayer at Jordan-Hare" back in 2013 when a tipped pass on 4th-and-long by Auburn resulted in the deciding touchdown late in the 4th to give the Tigers the win.

In Athens last season, the Bulldogs got their revenge when they demolished the Tigers 34-7 and would go on to a 10 win season.

#3 Baylor at TCU November 27.

When it comes to this game, you better have all your Christmas shopping done before this game. Why would you want to fight off all that Black Friday mess when you could easily be in the comfort of your own home and enjoy what could be the best game of the college football year.

These two teams were and are without a doubt the two best teams in the Big 12. The two schools had a classic game last year which resulted in a Baylor victory on a last-second field goal 61-58.

Both teams went on to a 11-1 record and were announced co-champions of the Big 12 despite the Baylor victory over TCU. Look for this game to be no exception as far as their records go. I could see them both heading into that game or at least have one loss to their record. This game should have every college football playoff implications on the line.

#4 Alabama at Auburn. November 28.

Well, isn't this a surprise. The Iron Bowl is a must-watch game of a college football season. Why not? After all, it's more than likely going to have SEC Championship title hopes and a playoff birth on the line for both teams.

This game back in 2013 gave us the so epic "Kick Six" and a come-from-behind victory last year from Alabama that got them into the SEC Championship game and a playoff birth.

We have not been to accustomed to not seeing an SEC team being crowned as the nation's champions of the college football world, but one of these two teams will represent the SEC in the playoffs in hopes to bring back National Championship back to SEC country this year.

#5 Auburn at LSU September 9.

Auburn makes a third appearance on my list. The SEC West is going to be a free-for-all.

Both teams will be very competitive that will stay in the hunt at the top of the SEC all season long. LSU RB Leonard Fournette is going to be a headache to deal with for all defenses this season, but the Auburn Tigers will be able to even out the score on their offensive side of the ball with their arsenal of wide receivers, in which they will be led by Duke Williams.
