Conejo Valley YMCA Childcare Available in Moorpark and Thousand Oaks

MOORPARK, Calif. - Aug. 14, 2015 - PRLog -- The Conejo Valley YMCA is registering students in kindergarten through fifth grades for its childcare programs in Moorpark and Thousand Oaks.

         The Moorpark childcare programs are located at Peach Hill Academy and Mountain Meadows Elementary School. Students from Campus Canyon school can take part in YMCA childcare as well. They will be transported to the Y childcare program at Mountain Meadows. The Y’s childcare in Thousand Oaks is at MATES Charter School.

         Hours are 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. (before school care at Peach Hill and MATES only) and afterschool until 6:00 p.m. Afterschool childcare includes service on early dismissal days. Full time and part time care is available.

         The Conejo Valley YMCA childcare is state licensed with a staff ratio of one to 14 students. All staff are CPR/First Aid certified. A typical afterschool schedule begins with a snack and homework time followed by age-appropriate enrichment activities including science projects, dramatic play, music, arts and crafts and outdoor play. Children participate in monthly community service projects.
