By: Lions Club Organizing this service project gives us a chance to help young people to develop skills which will make them better citizens, said Lions Club Secretary Walt Rountree. In addition to the clubs upcoming service event, the club conducts a variety of projects including a Student Speaker Contest, Lions Flag Day, the Lions Youth Leadership Institute and vision help for the needy. Lions clubs are groups of men and women who identify needs within the community and work together to fulfill those needs.
