Cal Construction Begins Renovation To Build Two New Schools In Pompano Beach

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - July 23, 2015 - PRLog -- South Florida-based CAL Construction (http://www.caldevelopment.com), a division of CAL Development, announced today that it has broken ground on a two-school renovation project in Pompano Beach totaling 23,000 square feet.

The schools, For Him Christian Academy (http://forhimca.com/safe-facility.html) a full service, fully accredited, child-focused daycare and preschool, and Innovation Charter School (ICS) (https://www.facebook.com/InnovationCharter) a technology-rich, global learning environment for elementary students, are currently enrolling students and will open in time for the upcoming 2015-2016 academic year.

Situated in Pompano Beach, both schools are housed on the ground floor of The Forum (http://forumsouthflorida.com/) building, a Christian-affiliated hotel and home to OneHope, a ministry committed to affecting the destiny of youth. All guest accommodations and meeting spaces, as well as OneHope, will be open and fully operational during the renovation with no inconvenience to guests, visitors or staff.

The site formerly housed office and warehouse space as well as the original daycare. The renovation will provide space for multiple classrooms, a cafeteria, common areas and office space. As a construction project, this renovation stands out due to the sensitive nature of building within a hotel and office space, the security regulations for a school and the extremely tight deadline in order to meet the needs of the academic calendar.
