The Rock Church Holds Annual Lake Tye Community Event on August 9th

MONROE, Wash. - July 20, 2015 - PRLog -- Lake Tye Park is Monroe's second-largest park at 67 acres with much of that acreage devoted to the lake. The beautiful grounds and ample parking makes it the perfect setting for the large scale outdoor event The Rock Church has planned for Sunday, August 9^th at 10:00am.

“Hundreds of people joined us last year for what is always the highlight of our summer. It’s a perfect time to celebrate family, friends, and fresh beginnings,” says Lead Pastor Jeff Knight. “We’re bringing our worship band, bouncy houses, BBQ grills, and its guaranteed awesomeness! We’re looking forward to having the whole community join us again this year, spending the day, and bringing their family and friends, too.”

The day’s activities include live music, a service message, baptisms, bouncy houses, games, water activities, and much, much more! Bring your own picnic lunch or buy a $5 meal which includes hamburger or hotdog, chips and a soda. Other sweet treats will be available for purchase at $1 each. The Rock Church believes that water baptism is an outward expression of one’s inner faith and that it’s God’s plan for every believer to be baptized in water. This is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate with those who are ready to take this next step in their walk with Christ.
