LONDON - June 18, 2015 - PRLog -- The Nameshield Group celebrated its twentieth anniversary yesterday at the Musée Grévin in Paris. The 250-300 guests were first taken to the The Hall of Mirrors, prior to listening to CEO Jean-Paul Béchu during an impressive ceremony followed by a cocktail-dinner reception.

I have worked with many Registrars in the past: corporate and retail ones, local and International ones and I thought that Nameshield was a small family business. Yesterday I discovered that they had 70 employees worldwide, in London, Paris, Luxembourg and Beijing ...

No, Nameshield is no longer a family business, it has become a major Corporate Registrar, now highly involved in launching new generic Top-Level Domains with "Nameshield Registry".

So what about this Rumor?

During his speech, the CEO suggested to ask his employees about a "Cocorico project". After listening to CAC 40 companies testifying on stage how satisfied they were to have transferred their domain name portfolio to Nameshield, I realized that it would be related to...executive meetings related to...a protection project for internet users.

I'll come back on this when I know a little more.
