Kambrian Corporation Nominated for SBA Award

WEST COVINA, Calif. - Feb. 20, 2015 - PRLog -- CEO Cathy Hsieh of Kambrian Corporation has been nominated for the SBA Small Business Person of the Year Award by the Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA).

“[Kambrian Corporation] has delivered quality products and services as the lowest and responsive bidder on many information technology request for bids,” said Rose Cote, LAWA’s Business Outreach Coordinator. “It is an honor to nominate Kambrian.”

Kambrian Corporation is an IT value-added reseller located in West Covina, California, providing IT solutions nationwide to organizations in both the public and private sector. Kambrian assists customers with virtualization, networking, cloud, unified communications, security, and storage, among other IT solutions.

CEO Cathy Hsieh founded Kambrian in 2009. Prior to starting Kambrian Corporation, she worked for Microsoft and Honeywell in sales, marketing, operations and project management. Hsieh holds an MBA from Cornell and a BA in electrical engineering from UCLA.

Now in its sixth year of business, Kambrian ended 2014 with a total revenue of $8.8 million, tripling in revenue from the year prior.

The winner of this year’s SBA Small Business Person of the Year Award will be announced and honored at a National event during this year’s National Small Business Week, May 4-8, 2015. First established in 1963, the National Small Business Week aims to recognize the contributions of entrepreneurs and small business owners across America.
