DENVER - Feb. 12, 2015 - PRLog -- Colorado artisanal food crafter Hacienda Maize (http://haciendamaize.com/) heads to Albuquerque for the 27th National Fiery Foods & BBQ Show (http://www.fieryfoodsshow.com), March 6-8, 2015. It’s the company’s third year at the Festival. The Denver-based producer of Fire-Roasted Colorado Chile pepper jelly is proud winner of Scovies in 2014 and 2015 for jams/jellies, desserts, chocolates and stir-fry sauce – all using Colorado-grown chiles.

The Festival highlights winners of the annual Scovie award competition, including Hacienda Maize. The hotly-contested Scovie awards (pun intended) are a significant honor in the spicy foods world. “Scovie” refers to the Scoville scale for gauging chile heat. Colorado wins, repeatedly!
