Synchrogistics Unveils New Transportation Consulting Business Unit

GREENSBORO, N.C. - Feb. 9, 2015 - PRLog -- Synchrogistics, LLC, a leading provider of freight management services, announced the launch of its newest business unit – Strategic Consulting. Strategic Consulting takes a consultative approach in identifying client supply chain needs, quantifying the costs and benefits of the choices available, and implementing the agreed upon solutions. Services offered will include freight spend analysis, RFP management and execution, private equity portfolio company supply chain reviews, interim supply chain management roles and supply chain revenue enhancement.

Bill Jackson will lead the Strategic Consulting division, drawing on his deep industry expertise in logistics and operational turnarounds while at Alvarez & Marsal. In addition to his consulting work, Bill has also led multiple supply chain system and process-change implementations during his time at Synchrogistics.

During 2014, Synchrogistics added 9 new employees to its Greensboro, NC headquarters and 3 to its Houston customer service center as it experienced nearly 300% revenue growth.
