‘Book’d in Burbank’ Kicks Off Diverse Season Three

LOS ANGELES - Jan. 7, 2015 - PRLog -- Book’d in Burbank literary event launches its third season as “The Ultimate Bibliophiles’ Night Out” on Thursday, January 22, 2015, 8:00 P.M. – 9:30 P.M. at Theatre Banshee in the Magnolia Park section of Burbank. Presented by Liz D Publicity & Promotions, Book’d in Burbank is a bookish social gathering that treats book lovers to an evening of author readings, giveaways and a dessert-mingling reception.

Following the success of past eclectic lineups, Book’d in Burbank will present mystery, romance, young adult (YA), fantasy and steampunk fiction at the January 2015 season premiere. “Book’d in Burbank’s New Year’s resolution is to showcase more subgenres that appeal to niche readers, such as steampunk, which is a popular sci-fi and fantasy hybrid,” says Liz Donatelli, Liz D Publicity & Promotions Book Publicity & Literary Events Director, “LGBT romance, multicultural YA and American West historical fiction are in the works for Book’d’s season three.”

Author readings will be performed by Diane Vallere, President of Sisters in Crime/L.A. and the mystery author of SUEDE TO REST(MATERIAL WITNESS,#1), Ruth Clampett, author of sexy contemporary romance THE INSPIRATION (WORK OF ART, #1), KB Alan, contemporary erotic romance and BDSM author of PERFECT ALIGNMENT (PERFECT FIT, #2), Nicole Maggi, debut YA author of paranormal novel WINTER FALLS (TWIN WILLOWS, #1), Michele Wolfe, debut author of contemporary coming-of-age fantasy THE THREE GRACES, and Cam Baity and Benny Zelkowicz, animators and debut co-authors of steampunk adventure THE FIRST BOOK OF ORE: THE FOUNDRY’S EDGE (THE BOOKS OF ORE, #1).
