Kobina Wright to be Published in Torrid Literature Journal Vol. XIII

Literary magazine to feature new poem by Kobina Wright in latest volume.

Dec. 30, 2014 - PRLog -- Artist and writer, Kobina Wright, will be among the contributors in the literary magazine titled Torrid Literature Journal as the literary magazine will feature a new poem by Wright titled, “Like Tradition.”  The thirteenth volume is scheduled to be released on January 3rd.

According the literary magazine’s website:

“To date, TL Publishing Group has successfully published over 100 writers in seven volumes of the Torrid Literature Journal. With over 1,000 submissions received from around the world and an average acceptance rate of 20% - 30%, TL Publishing Group is on a positive path to fulfilling its mission.”

The announcement ends 2014 among the slurry activity the artist and writer has managed earlier in the year.  In 2014, Wright published her work in several literary magazines including, Blackberry and SNReview.  She has published the second edition of the Abridged Hodaoa-Anibo Dictionary; spoke at the X13 Conference in Omaha, Nebraska; and exhibited at The Tabernacle Notting Hill through the Uncooked Culture Mobile Art Bazaar.

Wright also scrapped her previous website recently (Dramaticpause.net) and replaced it with a completely new one at KobinaWright.com where she shares updated biographical information, an interactive online art gallery to view more of her latest works and links to other places where one can discover her art and literature.  The site also includes an excerpt from an essay titled, “The Absence of Failure” which can also be found in The Abridged Hodaoa-Anibo Dictionary.

Wright is an American writer, artist, actress and language creator.  She is known primarily for her poetry and abstract art which is constantly evolving.  Wright is the creator of the Hodaoa-Anibo language which she began to develop in 2003 and self-published “The Hodaoa-Anibo Dictionary.”  She is also known as the co-creator of nuler poetry which she helped to develop with friend and poet, Lisa Bartley Lacey.
