Do it Yourself Marketing Book Released to Kick-Start 2015

Local book launch party and autograph signing scheduled in January

CARY, Ill. - Dec. 22, 2014 - PRLog -- Many business owners often feel as though they’re “winging it” as they carry on day to day. They lack a plan or resources to keep them focused and reach their financial goals. Business and marketing coach, Victoria Cook, and McDonald’s executive turned entrepreneur, Stan Washington are changing that. The business experts wrote Plans to Prosper: Strategies, Systems & Tools for Small Business Marketing Success which is a step-by-step guide to growing businesses through effective marketing. The book is available internationally on Amazon. McHenry County business owners will be able to purchase their copy and have it signed by the authors at a mixer and book launch on Friday, January 16, 2015 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Cucina Rosa located at 4113 West Shamrock Lane in McHenry.

This book comes just in time for small business owners who are firming up their 2015 business and marketing plans. “This is the book I wish I had 11 years ago when I started my business,” said Cook. “We broke the book down into three 30 day segments for easy implementation by busy entrepreneurs looking to start or grow their business in 2015.”

“It’s the right time for small businesses to prosper,” shared Washington. “The world has changed and we feel people can market nationally and globally right now.” This do-it-yourself marketing book can help business owners do just that - - on a budget.

The January 16th event will celebrate the newly renovated Cucina Rosa Italian Restaurant and provide an opportunity for area business owners and professionals to network and learn more about the new book. Copies of Plans to Prosper: Strategies, Systems & Tools for Small Business Marketing Success will be available to purchase and signed by the authors. Cook and Washington met while serving on a local board of the International Coach Federation, an organization with 22,000 members. After discovering they shared a similar approach and mindset to marketing, they became passionate about working together to create a tool business owners could use to save money and grow a business simultaneously. They take the guess work out of marketing strategies. The book also provides examples, tips, resources and warnings so business owners can market effectively on a small budget while increasing buyer awareness and growing sales.
