      As the world turns, Seems like my world sits still. I can remember a time when all was right. Then again, I recant that statement too, "almost right". For myself, a man of simple aspirations. a lot was not required to reach the point of utopia. However; despite minor imperfections, everything was all right until about seven years ago! So I ponder, what changed that could of caused my demise. Did I lie, did I rob one of his jewels, did I commit adultery? After careful consideration, I found the rebuttal to those questions as a sound NO. What have I done wrong? Why has my God forsaken me? For the most part of the past seven years I have been exiled on an island full of despair! I'm that cartoon character with the black angel like a cloud that hovers overhead signifying my fate. I'm always too late, too broke, or too incompetent to get anything right. I'm standing in the rain without an umbrella! Hit me with your best shot, I'm use to it! I use to dodge adversity, but now I embrace life's punches as a catcher straddling to catch that ninety mile an hour split finger fastball. Depressed some may call me! Destined to be what I am, I call myself. U use to be full of color, but now I'm fading and near invisible. For the readers of my thoughts; I know the pain and despair personally. My testimony is one too often portrayed in ready for tv mini series. I'm crying for help! Will you help a stranger, or walk by me and gnarl at my outstretched hand. Help, I gasp, but you don't hear me! Would it inconvenience you to breath breathe into my lungs? My home - Gone, My job - Gone, My two cars - gone, Not to mention my strained relationship with my children due to month's behind in Child support - GONE! Why, God come see about me! - Not a coincidence, I realized that exactly seven years ago to the date, I was baptized in the name of the Father! At that moment, Satan waged a nonstop war to gain the salvation that was enstored in me! Like many, I saw the field of roses and felt that I was protected under the covenant. Yes, as that may be, the covenant alone will not keep you! You must pick up the shield of and armor and prepare for battle. I was ignorant of the battle to ensue. My testimony is a testimony to those torn by the trials this life may carry. Trouble don't last always!
