New Podio Add-On From Globi Web Solutions Will Allow ToodleDo Integration

CALGARY, Alberta - Nov. 24, 2014 - PRLog -- Globi Web Solutions has launched a new service that connects workplace collaboration platform Citrix Podio with task management tool ToodleDo, it announced last week. The connector, called PoodleSync, synchronizes tasks between users’ Podio and ToodleDo accounts.

“By syncing Podio tasks to ToodleDo, you now get all the power and features of ToodleDo with your Podio tasks,” said Andreas Huttenrauch, chief digital strategist for Globi Web Solutions. The company has previously created other Podio extensions as well, including workflow automator GlobiFlow.

Podio is a project management software that allows for building tasks, managing deadlines, collaborating between colleagues and tracking progress. It can also be used to handle customer relationship management, organize recruiting workflows and structure company intranets.

“Podio is very powerful, and your tasks in Podio are very important. The problem is that Podio's task management is not as easy as the general to-do managers we've become accustomed to,” Huttenrauch explained.

ToodleDo, on the other hand, is a more narrowly focused but easy-to-use task manager that allows users to outline their tasks, share them with and assign them to others, schedule recurring tasks, prioritize actions and track time spent on each list item.

“ToodleDo is a well-established and powerful to-do manager with great mobile apps and Android widgets,” Huttenrauch commented. “That’s why we wanted to combine the power of both these platforms for users.”

Both Podio and ToodleDo are free services that offer paid upgrades for added features.
