MIAMI BEACH, Fla. - Dec. 18, 2014 - PRLog -- The invention is related to a handheld optical scanner and/or memory device for capturing images and experiences of the event specific location. More particularly, the handheld device may include a data storage component, a scanning component configured to capture images of the event. More particularly, this invention further relates to a device linked to an app enabling upload and share images of the event with others using same device and app.

Barcodes are machine-readable figures that represent data associated with the object to which the barcode is attached. Barcode readers scan the barcode and, through the use of decoder circuitry, provide the data representing the barcode to the barcode readers output port. This data can then be used by a machine, such as a case register or a general purpose computer.

This invention relates to the general field of imaging systems, and more specifically toward a combination barcode scanner and digital imaging device. A user scans the barcode on BANGLES and activates the barcode scanner and, upon successful scanning of a barcode, to activate the digital imaging camera. An integrated touch screen is used to review captured images and barcode data as well as to navigate through various menus and review and set particular settings for the device. Barcode data and/or digital images are stored within the device and cannot be transferred to a computer via wired or wireless connections and phone and the like. The persons specific barcode will enable the person wearing BANGLES to upload the images of event, so clicked and upload for all other similar users of the same app and BANGLES. The Barcode, once activated, shall be non-active once the event is over and shall save the uploaded pics for future reference.The camera shall also stop functioning after the event is over and the user is outside of the place of event.

The BANGLES will be available on the wristbands that are handed out before the event and optionally the user will be able to take it home as a souvenir, just like they keep their wristbands. The images will all be explored and anyone can access the photos; make sure they have the app.

The device so described in this invention will be in adjustable sizes to fit in multiple users irrespective of the wrist sizes of the users and will be available in all possible colors of the armbands. The device so forth described will be event specific and will require no profile names or screen names and anyone using the said BANGLES can see/post pictures on the app so discussed. The device so forth described will advertise the experiences of people attending these events and each event may have different wristband.

While the invention has been described in conjunction with preferred specific embodiments thereof, it will be understood that this description is intended to illustrate and not to limit the scope of the invention.
