Great Response to BananaIP Seminar on Business Approach on Intellectual Property for IT, Electronic

BANGALORE, India - Sept. 15, 2014 - PRLog -- BananaIP, formerly Brain League, through its Sinapse Events initiative, conducted the first in the series of seminars on “Business Approach to Intellectual Property (IP) for IT, Electronics and Telecom Industries”on 12 September 2014 at Le Meridien Hotel in Bangalore. The seminar brought together eminent speakers in the field of IP and witnessed an enthusiastic participation from industry leaders, academicians and researchers.

The seminar was aimed at helping the participants enhance their IP portfolios and understand the impact of IP.  It included interactive lectures, case studies, questions and answers and counselling sessions with the participants. The seminar presented sessions on Emerging IP Issues, Business Strategies for Driving IP Growth, Changing Landscape of Open Source Licenses, Emerging Trends in IT, Electronics & Telecom Patents and Technology Licensing, and finally Tech Transfer and Commercialization in India.

At the event, BananaIP also announced the launch of BIP Group, an Intellectual Property (IP) licensing and commercialization venture that it is playing a major part in. BIP Group is the Indian partner of Bastille, LLC, a leading global IP development and commercialization organization based in the US.
