Sept. 12, 2014 - PRLog -- The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus launch made by Apple has generated great expectations, with not only larger devices, but that offer new features that expand the range of opportunities of smartphones in the market.

Although opinions differ on the new features showcased on the new iPhone models, Apple hopes to regain leadership in themarket, now in hands of the Android operating system from Google.

According to ComScore, Android leads the market for smartphone operating systems with 51.5%, followed by Apple at 42.5%.

But without a doubt, an important sector where Apple can increase its market share, is the Latin market, which, according to different studies is the group with the highest consumption of smart phones in the United States.

A recent study by Nielsen shows that 79% of Hispanics in the United States have smartphones vs. 70% of non-Hispanics.
