Aurora Car Dealerships: Prizes, Music Fun at Havana BID’s 4-Wheelin’ City Slicker Jamboree Event

AURORA, Colo. - Sept. 11, 2014 - PRLog -- Football, tailgating games, a Cornhole tournament, a chance to win $500 and a display of the best 4x4’s on the market highlight the 4-Wheelin’ City Slicker Jamboree (http://www.onhavanastreet.com/4-wheelin-city-slicker-jamboree) Saturday, September 20, 10:00 AM TO 5:00 PM at the Dick’s Sporting Goods Parking Lot at The Gardens on Havana, 1200 S. Ironton in Aurora. The event is sponsored by Havana Business Improvement District (http://www.onhavanastreet.com) (BID), dba On Havana Street, and Havana Motor Mile dealerships.

There is no cost to attend the 4-Wheelin’ City Slicker Jamboree. Attendees will have several options to fill the day with family fun.

Dealership Show and Shine:  From 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, There will be a 20 Dealership "Show & Shine” display of the best 4x4 Trucks, SUVs and AWD vehicles in the Dick's Sporting Goods parking lot at The Gardens on Havana.  Dick's Sporting Goods is holding its big Sidewalk Sale at this time. No vehicle sales will take place at the Show and Shine.

Dealership Drawing:  Attendees can enter the separate drawing at the Havana Motor Mile dealerships on the day of the 4-Wheelin’ City Slicker Jamboree for a chance to win $500 cash and a tailgating package from Havana Auto Parts. The individual dealerships are hosting their own tailgating events, cookouts and special sales at their dealerships on the Havana Motor Mile (http://www.onhavanastreet.com/havanamotormile/New-UsedCar...) for this event.

Cornhole Tournament:  2-person teams can enter the single-eliminationCornhole tournament at the "show & shine" and win prizes. The first place team wins $400 cash and the runner up team wins two Peyton Manning Jerseys from Dick's Sporting Goods. There are no entry or registration fees and no purchase is necessary to win prizes.

Mascot Special Appearances:  Special appearances are expected by the Chick-fil-A cow, the BW3 mascot, StevO's Pizza's Pink Pig, and Mister Big Check from Jackson Hewitt.

“This is the perfect opportunity,” said Havana BID Executive Director Gayle Jetchick, “to have a day full of family fun and find the perfect vehicle to get you through what may be months of snow and more rain this fall and winter.”

The event also features music and a live radio remote. DJ Epixx will be providing music for the Cornhole tournament and Show & Shine. KYGO radio's Brian Hatfield will be on site doing a live remote from 3:00 PM -5:00 PM.  The KYGO radio booth will have a Prize Wheel where attendees can spin the wheel and win prizes.
