Cash, Sales from Havana BID Merchants make Shopping in Aurora essential part of Denver Holidays

AURORA, Colo. - Nov. 18, 2014 - PRLog -- Black Friday kicks off a fun and potentially financially rewarding Denver holidays shopping experience for those who choose to do their shopping in Aurora, thanks to Havana Business Improvement District (BID) member merchants.

“Holidays On Havana Street” features one-day bargains and unique shopping experiences all season long.

On Black Friday, November 28, 2014 holiday sales to be found On Havana Street include:

Trendy Xchange, a selective thrift and consignment shop, is offering 50 percent off its already significant discounts on stylish women’s clothing.  The sale runs 10:00 AM to Noon at the shop, 2323 S. Havana Street, Aurora.

Heirlooms Antique Mall’s annual holiday sale begins on Black Friday and runs through December 14, 2014. 1947 S. Havana St., Aurora.

The English Teacup’s “big holiday sale” features “gifts and goodies imported from England.” 1930 S. Havana St. #5

Nine Havana BID member merchants are participating in a Holiday Cash Drawing, in which ten (10) people will win $100 each. One entry per person per location will be accepted Friday, November 28, 2014 through Sunday, December 14, 2014. Participating locations are:

Trendy Xchange; Heirlooms Antique Mall; The English Teacup; Noodles & Company at The Gardens on Havana, 10550 E. Garden Dr., Aurora; Fan Fair Liquor, 475 N. Havana St., Aurora; Havana Auto Parts, 901 S. Havana St., Aurora; The Mail Room, 1155 S. Havana St., Aurora; All Seasons Rent-All, 2157 S. Havana St., Aurora; Havana Street Station Restaurant, 1922 S. Havana St., Aurora.

The drawing will take place Tuesday, December 16, 2014. Winners will be notified by phone.

“A hundred bucks can go a long way when shopping in Aurora, especially On Havana Street,” said Havana BID Executive Director Gayle Jetchick, invoking the organization’s more familiar moniker, “and even more so in our unique shops on Black Friday.”

Christmas carols. Saturday, November 29, 2014, 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM the Aurora Singers will bring their brand of Christmas cheer to The Gardens on Havana. Everyone is welcome to join in the fun, which begins at Babies & Toys ‘R’ Us at 2:00 PM.

On Saturday, December 6, 2014, Noon to 4:00 PM, Santa and his helpers will make personal appearances at random places in the district rewarding “nice” shoppers with specially wrapped gift cards.

Visual treats including Christmas lights adorning the area and the sculptures still on display from the BID’s annual Art 2C On Havana (http://www.onhavanastreet.com/art2c20142015) exhibition. The winning sculpture, “Liberation,” by Brandon Roth of San Diego, CA, can be seen outside The Stampede, 2430 S Havana St.
